Northwestern to Northwestern Launch Party!

Join us on Wednesday, September 9, at 7:00pm for a Zoom Launch Party for Doug McConnell’s September 13th 13 mile swim of Lake Michigan, from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois to Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

The event will start on September 13th at 7:30am in the morning off the beach at Northwestern University’s Evanston Campus, swim south in Lake Michigan to Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine near Navy Pier in Chicago.

At 13 miles, we expect the swim to take 7-8 hours.  Conditions in Lake Michigan can be very challenging as they are unpredictable and capricious.
