The panel will discuss how A Long Swim pivoted in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of all in-person swimming events. Learn about the success of our Virtual Race, the Great Chicago Charity Swim, and a first-ever Northwestern-to-Northwestern swim. The challenges of 2020 made the A Long Swim team recommit its support of the very exciting developments in collaborative ALS research at the Ozdinler Lab at Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine.  The results of 2020 give us a terrific springboard into A Long Swim’s exciting plans for 2021.
